Mary Klag is an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Mary started dance lessons at a very young age, and because of her athleticism, skill, and love of dance,she was selected to be in a dance company where she traveled throughout the local Tampa Bay area to different venues and performed to large audiences. Due to her passion and extensive background in the dance world, Mary became a Zumba instructor two years ago and has enjoyed showing others that dance fitness is not only fun and enjoyable, but can get you results at the same time! It’s very gratifying when she sees people smiling and having a good time while getting a great workout!
Before Mary became a fitness professional, she was an elementary school teacher for 10 years and is extremely passionate about children. She believes it is essential that all children learn at an early age how to live an active and healthy lifestyle and that their parents have a responsibility to be healthy role models for them. She also thinks it’s important that all children find at least one activity/sport that they truly enjoy and excel in, not only for the exercise and social aspects, but to gain self esteem and a positive self image.
Mary considers herself to be a lifelong learner, and is constantly expanding her knowledge base to best serve her clients needs. No matter who you are or where you are on your fitness journey, Mary is excited to help you achieve optimal wellness through individualized programs.
